6-9-05, Had Gene Smith and Tim Jackson on board today from Lexington, NC. we went to the 390-390 and found a slow king bite there, but it was a king bite, those have been rare this spring. Got their limit after a lot of short fish and short strikes by 11:00 AM. We left there and went to the mouth of lockwood folly inlet and found the Spanish Mackeral willing and ready to ride back to the dock with us!!!! Caught a lot of throw-backs and a lot of keepers. A lot of times we would have one on every rod. Gene and Tim, it was good to see you guys again, tell everyone back in Lexington I said hello. I enjoyed fishing with ya'll again!!! Come on down and grab a fishing pole, the fish are starting to bite !!!!! Till next time, FISH ON!!! Capt. Butch and Capt. Chris Foster. YEAH RIGHT SPORTFISHING CHARTERS, Southport,NC (910) 845-2004. 6-9-05, It's pretty late and I have got to do it again tomorrow, so I'll just make this one short and let the pictures and Jerry Price, Jason Price, Paul Warner and Wesley Rutledge tell you about the wild fishing trip we had in the stream today. These Bull Mahi-Mahi were charging out from under weed beds jumping and crashing our hoo's like mad dogs. We lost some bigger ones than we boated. Just too much brute strength to hold. Yeah, we even stopped on a couple of Grouper Rocks on the way back and picked up a few grouper along with some nice triggerfish, black bass, white grunts, B-liners, and be sure to check out the pic of the Queen Triggerfish, one more pretty fish!!!!!! Check back tomorrow, will have report from a new adventure!! FISH ON!!! Capt. Butch and Capt. Chris Foster. Check out pic's on
