First cast of the day and whack! 5lb+ female bolts out of the water and I'm like sweeeeet...10 secs later she wraps me around a boulder and manages to free herself from my 4lb line. Trust me I know what a 5lb fish looks like in case you were wondering. Took off after an hour and 1 small male, at least it wasn't a teen fish I farmed today haha!

Hey Limited, I will be out there sunday arround 4-5pm for a couple of hours,
Typically fish the north shore but i know the water temp is about right on the south and east shore. I'll probably start at the pier closest to the swim beach. Try the shallow crank baits (rapalas/black & siliver) did wonders for me last year. I would work the plastic and then run the crank bait in the same area. I fished last sunday for 2 fish 2.5 and 3.4 lb and on wednesday for 2 fish ,both bounced the scale at 2.2/2.4 i started to wonder if i caught the same fish. If i dont see ya out there i'll post how it went.

Hey Mod51, trying to make it out there Sunday evening also. I plan to start at the other end by the rocks/flats working my way to the pier. Would like to ask you some things about the North shore. Hope to see you, will be wearing an old dark blue Shimano cap.

I'll be there in the morning with my buddy ray, we'll be in a 4 door silver tacoma. I'll try and head back for the evening bite with you guys if I don't end up playing baskeball with my friends.

I got there at 5:30 and stayed until 9pm. I think I was the only one left! Had a bite on a swimbait about 5' off shore which shook off about 2' later. That was it! This has been the story of my last three trips. (Though I didn't spend that much time the last two times). Threw different lures and dropshotted, but to no avail. Am getting a little frustrated at the lockjaw of these fish to my baits at this lake I think I need more time on the water but the wife doesn't quite agree
