(Attn cooks!)Need help cooking trout

This has been my first trout season. In the process, I've caught an S load of trout (usually 5 at a time).
Anyways, I invited a few people to eat the 10lber I caught a while back this weekend and I need a recipe.

The way I cook the normal sized ones is to stuff with lemon wedges, chopped onion, and Lemon/Pepper. Butter the outside, wrap in aluminum, and grill each side for 6 minutes.

Now I know this recipe needs to be altered for the big one. A guy at work told me to pretend I'm cooking a salmon. I unfortunetly, have never cooked a salmon before in my life.

I was thinking of cutting him/her/it into steaks. Do any of you guys have a good recipe I could use? I'm most likely going to grill him/her/it outside.
Thanks!!

i like breaded trout instead of using bread use crackers. what i do is i dip the fillets in an egg wash and coat it with a coating of finely ground crackers. coat once again with egg and crackers and fry in butter till golden brown.

Also, another thing you could do to almost any type of cooked trout (especially baked) is add onions. Onions have a very unique taste to them, and when cooked, become almost sweet.

Another thing I always use on any type of fish is Old Bay Seasoning. Its very good, and will make any type of fish taste delicious.

actually i have a recipe for a sauce that can be used with the breaded trout that includes onions.

fry a diced onion for about ten minutes in butter dump in a third of a bottle of your favorite beer let it simmer for a twelve minutes and ur set.

people say im very sarcastic but that statement was the truth. i use the crackers in the green box, keebler crackers i think. anyway, the crust is a little sweet and it is perfect for the trout. Ive also tried it with crappie but it didnt taste as good.

Thanks for the help guys. I went to one of those sites and got a nice recipe.
The trout were streaked and I cooked them salmon style. I was surprised how many people got full from 1 trout.

Anyways, thanks guys. I got nothing but praises.
