Great Day @ Big Bear Lake 3/11/04

Fished BBL on Thurs. from 11:30 till 5:00. Great weather, awesome scenery with snow covered Mountains surounding the lake. Took lots of pictures to post but my camera must have a problem because they wouldnt upload to my harddrive which totaly sucks. I ended up with 7 trout including two hook jaws that went 4.3 and 4.1 on my digital scales. The other 5 were around 1 1/2 to 2lbs. Inflated crawlers using a worm threader was the hot ticket. I brought three home for dinner and will be back to catch the other four again on Sun. All these fish have some really bright colors and the hook jaws thought they were 10lbers by the way they made the drag scream.

Great scenery, no crowds, free fishing, and no traffic to drive home in. (atleast if you live in the inland empire) Its time to hit the Mountain Lakes!

I fished near Juniper Point which is on the east end of the north shore.
Going back up tomorrow and my camera seems to be working fine now. Its a Sony and uses floppys for film. Think I might of had a couple of bad floppys. Going to try taking some more pics tomorrow.
