Fished Puddingstone for about and hour on thursday evening and landed six largemouths on the eastside of the reservoir. the hot weather has really brought the fish in shallow and almost ready for a WFO bite. was using 4" senko brown w/ red flake on 8 lb test; all fish caught about 10-15 feet from shore. put your trout rigs aside and get the bass rigs ready!

Hey Limited, do you use a spinning reel when using dropshot I want to try it, and how far up do u put the hook. Thanks for any info. BTW I was fishing ELDO and saw the bass blowing up on the shad on top so I threw my spinnerbait right in the middle and hooked up with a nice 2#. I've never seen that happen at ELDO but a great scene.

Yea I use a shimano stradic 1000 with 4, 5, or 6lb line when I dropshot. Length of leader depends on the situation but 6 to 8 inches is where I usually start. Congrats on that spinnerbait fish, heard lots of good things about the bass bite at el do. Might have to check it out this spring.
