Here is the fish count off of Dana Point from monday 3/7

3 BOATS, 33 ANGLERS

168 ROCKFISH, 44SCULPIN, 44CALICO BASS, 10 SAND BASS,

1 SHEEPHEAD, 20 BOCACCIO, 9 WHITE FISH

I dont know about you guys, but im going out there THIS SATURDAY!

Yeah, the fishing has been WFO everywhere for rockfish lately. I'm probably going out again saturday too.

What sporting was that at? I guess the water temp are gettier better for calico and sandbass. Good to hear fishing is looking good.

You guys are having some great fishing down there. Do you guys fish for flatties down there?

Yes, we do I tried caughting live smelt for halibut off the pier. But have better luck at the boat slips in the harbor.

yea theres a lot of good halibut fishing in dana point harbor.
