New to Humboldt County

Post New to Humboldt County

I am a new resident of Eureka (moved from the East Coast).

I am in search of any guidance of suggestions on finding a spot to saltwater fish in this area.

HELP Please!!!

Man I'm glad you joined. We definitely need more Northern California members for sure. Give me a day, and I'll post back here with some hot spots for you in your area, no problem!

"Oubearjinx" (Joe) is also a good source to ask...I'm sure he'll come up with something too.

Welcome to the board! I spent some time in Eureka a couple years ago and was able to squeeze a little surf fishing in. Basically, what I did was look for rocky areas where I had fairly easy access to the water and I had pretty good luck. There are also a couple party/charter boat landings up in Half Moon Bay that you might want to check out. I'm looking forward to your reports! Good luck!
