Man, I just got rid of my last International ( replaced all my Penn Internationals with AVET)and it was the 20. Sorry.

All my saltwater conventional reels are AVETS.
I have:
2 - SX 5.0's
2 - MXL 6's
1 - MXL two-speed
1 - EX 4/02 two speed
1 - EXW 4/02 two speed

Well, I mean a 2 speed is a 2 speed. I do know that AVET was the first out of the two companies to put a two speed in their smaller reels, and they're about to 2-speed the SX.

That one Avet, not sure which one, that is a two speed is nice. It is like 6:1, than goes down to 4.3:1 perfect for Yo-Yo Iron. Rip it on 6: drop gear and bust the yellows (yeah right) in.

What kind of deal are you talking about ($-wise)?
I can hook you up with a YTS that has a black Accuframe/spool, your choice of Penn sideplates (internal/external drag), and Newell 4 to 1 gears.
If you're low on cash, I will accept cash + trade.

as for price im talking about what it is worth not some over the top price or stealing it from you for a low amount

wwhat are the advantages and disadvanteges of getting a two speed over a regular reel? and how do you use the two speed?

There's actually a few different reasons that 2 speeds were developed, but for the most part...just what James said. I honestly don't think two speeds are necessary on a regular basis, but to each his own.
