Thumbs up California Halibut

Place halibut fillets in a baking dish, cover 2/3 with milk, and a pat of butter on each fillet. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour and a half. (3/4" -1" fillets, add 25 minutes per quarter inch if thicker thank 1")

Remove from heat, top with salsa and avocado, then add a slice of pepper jack cheese on top. Return to oven for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

ENJOY!

Actually I followed the receipe spot on and they were fine. I would suggest actually watching them and removing when you feel they are complete. That is for multiple fillets however, so, you may want to decrease the time 10-15 minutes. Or, rather than baking spray them lightly with a light oil mist (olive oil is good) and putting them in the broiler for about 6-8 minutes on each side. (Faster method)

The Kitchen is my second home. I'm what you would call a culinary hobbyist . I will definitely try that recipe. I'll probably go the broiler route. Thanks
