does anyone knwo of some good lakes or streams to get trout in san jose?

almaden lake underneath the bridge holds a lot of carp near the evening

almaden lake is at the intersection of coleman and almaden expressway. its right near the santa clara water district and a bunch of percolation ponds i have also caught carp in. my screen name for aim is guitarselbo5 if you wanna chat more about it

from the airport you would take 101 south to highway 85, take it all the way down to almaden expswy, and go abotu 3 miles and its on your left when you intersect coleman

ive only caught the 4-6 pounders, but i have seen some that look 3 times the size. also i have never tried it in the winter, only the summer. when they are there there is abotu 40 of them swarming, but they arent always there. i live really close to the lake so i can just go see if they are there and if they are i go grab my rod

in the summer, there was one period from like june where for abtou 2 week there were a ton of bass around the shoreline, and i caught a 9 pounder on a live minnow, the minnows were the only thing that they woudl bite
