Sarl 2-26-04

Met up with buddies Mike and Eddie today and arrived at SARL around 9.

Mike hooked up into a toad and it ended up weighing 22.8 pounds!!! The toad was caught on an Orange Lip RipperZ Trout Worm. Forgot my digi so wasnt able to take pics. He took some on his throw a way and the lake took some on their digital, so when I get them Ill post em. The pic is on their webcam though at http://www.fishingwebcam.com/SantaAnaRiverLakes.htm

That was the only fish we ended up hitting in the morning.

Caught 2 more fish by the end of the day and called it quits.

Fun day out on the water.

Probably be back on Saturday.

Anyone going?

Boat

We were out in a boat about 30 yards past the boat docks.

See you out there!

MIke (if you are on this board)

Dang, that s a HUGE FISH!!!

My biggest is a 13 pounder at santa ana a few weeks ago. Caught it on a chartreuse lip ripperz. I trimmed the worm a little bit and put it on one of those small wieghted hooks. that seemed to be the key. Nothing close to yours, but still a decent sized fish. im just getting into fishing and am already hooked.

Bryan

i called santa ana river lakes voice message to find out about the canceled tournament and the recording mentions mikes fish and somone elses fish were caught on your lip ripperz. it said "both the 16.8 pounder and the 22.8 were caught on lip ripperz worms". heres the number if you dont already have it. (714) 632-7830 im sure youd like it.

so far ive only caught trout since ive started fishing. they are a lot of fun, dont know if i want to get into bass fishing.
