Saltist vs Torium

I am planning on getting a reel and am hoping to get one of these to, they are virtually the same reel except that the saltis has no plastic. I was wondering which you guys preferred.

Theres the pic of the new Daiwa Saltist. I would expect the Saltist to be much better than the Torium. I would go for it!

ok i have never fished with them but from what i have herd and seen they are 2 differnt reels diawa has better drags but is a slower reel so that would be a good bait reel a toruim is a high speed =less power but i beleve casts better and but has less drag

The Saltis is suposed to be a "watered-down" saltiga but I kind of like the look of the torium a little better. I will probably be using this reel when i go to Bahia de los angeles so drag would be nice for cabrilla especially, i think i could sacrifice speed for drag. But it will be a reel for my jigstick when im fishing local.
