Overnight or Day and a half???
Is anyone interested in going on an overnight or day and a half trip later this week or next week? I'm not working again until October 6 so I have some free time and I need to catch a tuna this year! Let me know!!!

What ever you do I would suggest going out of a San Diego port , Seaforth or H&M. The counts are still good in that area. The local counts for Tuna have been almost not existant due to the cold front that came through last week end. Checking the boat counts the Overnighters have been producing well and are the best bang for the buck. 1 1/2 day'ers do better but they are about 50% more $$$.
If you sign on a definite trip post up and I will try and make it. Next week would be best. Walt |

definantly go further then the rest of the pack.
cold front, and wanna at least go 2 to 3 days for larger fish. 1 1/2 is good out of s.d. like walt says.

come to think of it.
today is the 22nd, and work starts on the 6th hit up a 10 dayer dude., 100 to 200 lb yellows are screaming to ache your bones.

Too bad I didn't see your post yesterday...I could've asked if you could be the 3rd person for this Saturday...bring your heavier setups in addition to one 20# rig
 A friend of mine actually admitted to using a belt after his 8th large fish of the day...he was forced to catch more fish the next day on the way home : )
