Blue Marlin and Bull dorado

Some guys from Hermosillo and I chartered a boat of catch 22
here at San Carlos yesterday, 4 guys and the captain cost me 100 bucks
400 total for the whole day

The day was beautiful the water flat, glass water
no wind and the fishing.. bad, no strikes all day for most boats
like someone took the fish away, but we had some action

Trolling frozen balihoo on skirts gave us a chance to fight a big bull doardo
mi shoulder is messed up so Cesar took the rod and fought the bull
he almost cry, the fish fought harder than anything he ever hooked up
and at the end, at the very last run, the dorado came loose
breaking Cesar´s heart, he felt terrible for loosing that trophy

the next one was a big blue marlin
mr.Andres, Ricardo's dad took the rod
(i was thinking he is too old to fight that marlin)
but he proved me wrong, muy macho the old man
the marlin jumped and jumped run 3 times
and on a jump snaped the line
the old guy was thanking god, cuz he was beat

so no fish, 2 fights
the taco was next at bat, but that was it
I may come back next week, in my way back home

hopefully on a better day
is been like this at San Carlos, they say
one day is good an the next nobody gets bit
must be the moon

yup, too bad no fish was boated

Most of the guys who came this time, are bass fisherman
and bulls and Marlin are way out of the stuff they are used too
but they are soo hooked that they wanna try Loreto
that place is loaded with fish these days
dorados till u get tired of catching them

San carlos is warming up
in Sept- Oct I may come back
then the place will be loaded
