8LB LOBSTER , ALIVE

WENT TO THE NEW 99 MARKET HERE IN CHINOHILLS.
found live stripers for 8.99 a lb.
also found live sculpins for 6.99 a lb.
what got my attention : LIVE MAIN LOBSTERS FOR 6.99 A LB.
I HOLLERD TO THE BUTCHER AND ASKED FOR THE BIGGEST LOBSTER THEY HAVE.
a 8 lber was pulled out the tank.lol............geeeeeeeeeeee this is gonna cost me a pretty penty.........IT TURNED OUT TO BE 1/2 THE COST OF ALBERTSON.

I DID TAKE PICTURES OF IT WHILE ITS STILL ALIVE.
will show pictures later.

I SPLIT THE LOBSTER IN 1/2
LAY IT FLAT ON A B.B.Q GRILL ( 500 DEGREES )
SAW TAYED SOME BUTTER,GARLIQ, AND LEMON WITH A PINCH OF PEPPER.
AFTER FULLY COOKED, BRUSHED ON THE SAUCE AND LET IT BOIL INSIDE THE SHELL.
it took 10mins to finalize the plate..........with a few coronas.lol
very tasty, and tender........use plain rock charcoal, for better flavor.
the misquite was to bit of smoky flavor.
PICTURES WILL BE SHOWN AFTER OUR FISHING TRIP.

Most of the weight = the 2 big claws

Next time, ask them to find you the lobster with the smallest claws, or even better no-claws.

Yeah, but when you think about it, the claws = weight a whole lot and at the same time, the meat in the claw isn't that great comparing to the tail. So clawless = best.

Looking at how you grilled the lobster, by not cooking it through the shell, you are allowing all the sweet lobster juice to drip away....
