The new mini striper master
Ladies and gentleman
Is such a great pleasure to introduce the new master of the mini stripers It took a great deal of ninja and jedy trainnig but after years and years on shaolin temple focusing on combat-and-minifishing trainig a new mini striper master joins the ranks to make this a better world... and you know what that means the next one is a 20 pounder ! congratulations David (keene fish)

O.k. here it goes;
Got to the gate at 6am, fished the dock from 6 to 6:30 and saw many boils and only got nibbles while I waited for Taco to show up. Once he and his buddy showed up the headed to the intake area, lined up along the buoy line and saw a lot of boils all over and the water was flowing in. Ten minutes there and Taco gets his first mini striper, then a few minutes later I got my first one. We repeated this for the next few hours, no big ones were brought in by us but 2 guys close to use picked up one that looked to be about 8lbs. We started trolling night crawlers around 11ish and I caught a nice pink meat 2lbs trout, taco hooks up to a 2-3lbs striper and releases it at the boat. The water had a lot of green algae in it and it had bugs hatching all over the place, when I cut open the trout, it was stuffed with them, also some beetles and a snail. The wind started to come up around noon so we wanted to try for some LMB but they didn't want to have anything to do with us on their spawn beds so we drifted for some trout and Taco caught another mini striper. We called it a day around 1:30 once the white caps started to kick up, the temp got up to 90 with the wind, water felt like 70ish. We discussed why we didn't go out on the pursuit at the end of the day and decided that for the money and quality fishing we will be back on it in a week or two because fishing is soooo much better on the ocean right now!!! Sorry Dodo. We thought we saw spooky fishing on a dock, still not sure if it was him or not. Then we think we found Dodos hide away cave and then we saw him on the hill in the bushes petting the skunk. P.s. no one run out of gas over there, its kinda expensive Keene |
