Next Sierra trip(s)

Okay, looks like my next trip to the Sierra will be camping in the Mammoth area the first weekend of August.
I will arrive on Friday morning the first and come home either Sunday evening or Monday afternoon.
I will reserve the campsites later this week so if anyone wants to join in you need to let me know so I know how many campsites I need to get. I am thinking somewhere in the Imediate area of Mammoth Lakes, maybe on Twin or Mamie.

The next trip after that will be for the Mono county Labor Day trout stock, I need to know who is going to that as well so I can grab the sites as they have filled up in the past.
This time I am thinking of camping farther North, either June Lake loop or maybe even Bridgeport area...suggestions?

I think that for my end of July trip I am going to stay down in the Postpile area. Plenty of fishing and tubing down there on the San Juaquin river and on Sotcher & Starkweather lakes. If we need something else to do and we can allways drive up to Twin, Mamie or George for a day trip.

For the Labor day trip do you guys have any requests on where I should grab some sites?

?!?!?!?
WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING?
I will be leaving my house on Thursday night July 31st and coming home sometime on Sunday or Monday 3rd or 4th.
The trip after that will be the Labor Day trip...
If I can get away before those two trips I might try and sneak in another one...

so you're in then? for sure this time?
I cant reserve sites in the campgrounds that I want, they are all first come first served so we will have to grab them Friday morning when we get there.

D'OH!
campsites are filling up quickly for Labor Day weekend, I need to know who is thinking of going and where you want to camp?

Silver Lake campground

June Lake camground

Sherwin Creek campground

Pine Glen campground (IN Town)

Old Shady rest campground (IN Town)

New Shady rest campground (IN Town)

Convict Lake campground

there is not much available in the Mammoth area for advance reservations so if we want to stay there we are either going to have to stay accross the street from Mc Donalds in one of the Shady Rest campgrounds IN town or take our chances at getting one of the first come/first serve sites near Twin or Mary or something.

What about the campground at Gull lake? Is that one a first come first serve type site?

I don't care where we camp Labor Day weekend, and you can count me in that trip too. Hell I might as well just leave the truck loaded after the next trip, then just gas it up and go on the Labor Day trip.
