Fall Freshwater Get Together Location?

So, planning on setting up the annual Freshwater Get Together we have each year and would like some input on where you guys think we should hold it. Last time, we had it in Puddingstone, but me and Dodo were thinking Silverwood for this year.

Here's the Puddingstone report. Hopefully you guys can read it before voting on the location. Thanks!

Here are some Silverwood area pictures.

Silverwood has skiffs that are affordable, a decent tackle shop, BPS on the way, and it's big yet small enough to troll around comfortably. Beside's the waters are calm enough for the boats to hold my BBQ still for cooking.

Oh, and I beleive the camping is affordable is you guys were to split spots.

So here are the pros and cons of each lake.

Puddingstone

Picnic area in a nice green park
Access to a lot of benches, shade and BBQs that are all next to the lake.
Centrally located for all of our members.
No stripers but the largemouth should be feeding on shad (just harder to fish for i guess)

Silverwood
Secluded picnic areas
Striper
Cheap boat and pontoon rentals
80 miles away from The Valley, Los Angeles, Newport

Castaic
Great striper and largemouth fishing
Close to the people that are further up North
:-\ We can have the picnic at the Lagoon, which would give us two different lakes to fish at.
Dusty
Far away for some people

Pyramid

Good striper fishing
Most facilities are closed down
Far away

Other

YOU TELL ME

Silverwood works for me. It's a heck of a lot further than the Pudd, but the fishing, in my opinion, is much better (even if they're only dinks). I find that the Pudd is a much tougher fishing lake.

It all depends on how we plan to roll this one out. If it's lots of us and we just want to "hang," the Pudd might be better. But if we wanna "fish," then the Wood may be best. Heck, maybe we can rent a few pontoons & put some money on the line ($5/head).

Either way, I'm psyched & count me in!

Sorry guys, I had to vote "other". All those lakes you mentioned are way too far for me. If I had to pick from that list, I'd go with Castaic or Silverwood.
