Megabass Type-X Frog
Type-X Frog – The type-x frog is a unique bait made by Megabass. Just like any other megabass product, you know you getting a high quality bait. The type-x is a hybrid between a topwater and a crankbait. It floats at rest and dives about a foot on a fast retrieve with the rod pointed down or wakes on a slow retrieve with the rod pointed up. At rest, it has its head out of the water and the legs down mimicking a real frog and allowing you to “pop” it with a twitch of the rod. Upon popping, the frog spits out some water and makes a 180 degree turn. On a straight retrieve it has a nice kick and creates a great wake. Another interesting feature of this bait are its down pointing legs that allow you to twitch the bait in one spot without moving it more than an inch. The paint job on this particular bait pictured is thick and bumpy on top while the bottom is smooth with a “cracked” finish. Unlike some other baits, the paint on these baits seems to stay even after multiple fish.

They're very nice, but silver?!! I've seen these frogs in action before and what you say about they're retrieve is true. Unfortunately I haven't seenany fish caught on them. Fine lures indeed!

it's not silver, it's black. all the bumps caught the flash i guess and made it look silver. it was catching topwater fish in Feb. so i cant wait to see how it does in the summer.
