Open Invite to Catalina - Friday, May 2nd
Hey fellas,
After escaping a near skunk with a Bone or two (woohooo  ) on Saturday's Catalina trip, Fish Taco and have decided to wash off the sour taste and head back out to the island. This time we're hopping aboard the Pursuit, which departs off 22nd St. Landing (http://www.22ndstreet.com/). I've been on it before and the captain knows his stuff. The only downfall to this landing is its high angler numbers, which is a direct result of the boat's fish counts.Anyhow, anyone interested in coming out to the island is welcome to join us. The boat leaves at 6:00 am and the cost is $60 plus your personal expenses. You've got at least to days to develop a mild cold by Friday. Oh yeah, by the way...in the last two days combined they've caught over 120+ Calico Bass, 1 WSB and 1 Yellow Tail. Who knows, Friday may be the day Catalina blows up!!!

So who's in??? Fish Taco, haven't heard from you lately...you're still in right? Brownwood, so what did the boss say? Does work allow? I'm curious to see what today's count is/was!

see you at the docks tomorrow the swells will be low, wind will pick up after 4 pm bring some 3/4 oz slinding egg sinkers for your monster halibut or calico I'll be bringing the "AVET" rod/ Newell 332 reel combo with the fishtaco yellowtailslayer  for ......yellowtail and a Abu garcia for calico/bonita fun who knows we may hit a yellow school and ... man I can wait!
