Spring Time Bass Fishing at Lake Mead?

Is anyone interested in taking a trip to lake Mead the last weekend of this month? My parents condo is open that weekend and I'm thinking about taking a group of kayaks/boats up there to get some spring time bass action! Would anyone be interested in this trip?

Condo is 2 bed/2 bath and plenty of floor space and about 30 - 45 minutes from the lake. We'd carpool up on Friday, March 28 after work and leave to come home on Sunday afternoon. So about 1 and a half days of fishing. Lodging is free and we can all split food.

Let me know if you're interested!

Not to mention all the spawning largemouth bass that will be up in the shallows!

LOL! I'm pretty sure the last 3 days of March are very close to early April

I'm expecting the fishing to be good!

I dunno, I'm with Dodo on this one. It's got to "officially" be April for the bite to be happening.
I'm just busting your chops guys.

This trip sounds mighty fun. I have heard the Striper bass there get pretty big. I wonder if I should pay a "visit" to mom in Vegas...hmmm.

"Hi mom, Bye mom!" FEEEEEEEEESH!

Well, this is kinda of funny, but I will actually be at a charity event on the 29th at stateline. Maybe I can back out of that one and do some fishing instead.

Mead has one of the best topwater bites in the country. You should get a nice mixed bag of stripers and bass. Take lots of pics and best of luck guys!!

I'm almost positive they do. CA is really the only state I know of that is cracking down on the 2 strokes.
