Fishing Tackle Swap Meet Sunday Feb 24th

Hey guys I had a couple of friends that have booths at local swap meets out in OC that sell fishing tackle and both of them told me about this swap meet coming up that happens twice a year and that it was worth going to. This swap meet was also posted on Craig's list so thought I pass on the info for anyone who might be in the area or interested.

They don't post a time it starts or ends but I was told to get there as early as possible, couple guys plan to go as early as 6 AM. I have never been so I do not know wat to expect or what will be there for sale.

CRAIG'S LIST AD...

There will be a Fishing Tackle/Boating equipment swap meet at 2261 Ritchey St. in Santa Ana on Sunday February 24th. South on 55 freeway to Edinger, turn left to Ritchey. South on Ritchey about a mile. Lots of used and new fishing tackle. Rods, Reels, Lures, Line, Misc, some Antiques. Always some guys with boat stuff there as well. May be as high as 60 sellers, including myself. Lots of good deals, come early, sunrise is good! Like having multiple garage sales at the same location. I have some used and/or rewrapped Sabre rods, a Truline, Lamilglas, Roddy, and even a Shimano Tiagra 30W, Used Jigs, Fly reels and rods, Smitty Spyder Harness, -- just as an example of what will be there.

Been there before also and if you are in the market for a used Penn than you will not be dissappointed.

I seem to remember a lot of decent deals on used Rods also...

I might go if my trip to the Vine gets postponed due to weather. Otherwise, I plan on trying to land a Bass or 2...
