He said trashed a rapala
slow trolled with wire

Fernando will be our captain for this summer's Dorado trip
there is also lots of sail fish and marlin in the same area
they have top gear, but bring a casting set up for 25-30 lbs
to cast at dorado. San Carlos Sonora is 4.5 hrs. south of the border of Nogales AZ, were thinking July-August for the trip, start saving
you'll need like 500-800 bucks tops if we drive, or we can fly there.
-I can't wait!!

Talking

Hi Guys...I really wish you guys get together and pay us a visit in San Carlos...we have really good action on sailfish, marlin, dorado ans sometimes tuna ...right now we are chasing yellowtail, the beginning of our cold water season was really slow, but it is starting to pick up now....

in the last 3 days we've had counts anywhere from 5 to 8 fish on 5 hrs runs to the island, with some boats catching up to 10-15 staying the whole day.

That fish on the pictures messed up my rapala but it was worth it

I wish that fish had come on a jig! it would have been much better! I hate trolling wire but that day they just weren't interested on the jigs.

Yesterday was a totally different story, we caught 5 nice fish in a half a day trip to the island. We are finally seeing some huge boils on the surface

here's a few pictures from the last couple of weeks

Getting to san carlos is really easy, I hope you guys come and fish with us.

Thx Eddie for the report!

Dodoman....you can always bring your favorite rig, but you can be sure we'll provide some quality gear...

We are using shimanos and accurates...for top water I mostly use shimano tiagras and tld's, for the winter time shimano toriums, a few avets, a few newells and just recentrly some accurates which are totally freaking cool!!
