THE COMPETITION IS NEAR END , AND WE ARE GOING TO TAKE IT TO THE END.LOL

THE GATES OPEN A 6 AM.
5.00 $ FOR PARKING.
4.00 $ FOR PERMIT TO FISH.

THEY DO HAVE A RESTAURANT , SO COME LIGHT AND READY.

THE INLET IS DOING GREAT WITH MANY LIMITS CAUGHT.

WE,LL SEE YA THERE.

SUGGESTED TACKLE.

1) 15LB FIRM STICK FOR SWIM BAIT CASTING.
2) 6 OR 8 LB STICK FOR REEL BURNING FUN AT THE INLET.
3 ) 4 OR 6 LB STICK FOR ULTRA LIGHT ACTION.

THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT.

a bit cheaper than silverwood.

the lake is really calm and a beaut to sea in mornings.
the ranger call it quits early if only a few boats shows.

we eye spied on the ranger, and got little info on his schedule.
the toons should have anchor
( last i rent there, they did.)

mick, we need a fish finder.

If anything, we'll make friends with private boaters and work off their readings.

just got through spooling some fresh line on all my ultra super duper bass killer 1st place striper rods.

changed out all my swim bait hooks to STINGERS.

minor adjustment on drags, JUST IN CASE.

reloaded the camera with fresh batterys, dont want spooky to miss this.lol

tackle box is cleaned out and organized like the way the striper pros do it.lol

cant wait to sit the boat ( SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STRIPER BOILS.

ITS , a bit chilly in mornings, so bring a sweater or light coat fellas.

ran out of 8lb, so im going with 15, 12, and 4 for ultralight, how about you mickey?

I'm suiting up with 10# & 15#. I may bring my 4# for the trout or Bass fun. Oh, and a few coats of clothes. Do you think 4 pants and 12 shirts should be enough?

this is our last trip for the competition, so if we can get 2nd , I,ll be happy.

yo mick, MY BATTLE TACKLE IS READY.
THE WINDS KICKED IN THIS MORNING BUT WENT AWAY AROUND 9 AM.
30 PANTS, 20 SHIRTS ARE NOT NEEDED.LOL
5 OF EACH IF FINE.LOL
if we work the dock area , and we will, theres about 5 or 6 large mouth bass ( 5 TO 7 LB RANGE )a few feet from shore, the water clarity is clear and visable.
i was throwing some big worms at them, no deal.
i found some small trout pattern worm ( basstrix ) that should attract there attention.

ANYWAYS, couldnt sleep last night, knowning the full moon has alot of effect on the lake.
some serious boils must of went off at night, THATS WHY ( ONE OF THE REASON ) THEY DONT ALLOW US TO FISH THE LAKE AFTER 7PM.

ANYONE WITH A PORTABLE FISHFINDER, WE CAN BORROW.
