No trout season at LNL

Well, I heard it is pretty much official. There will be no trout season, and effectively no more LNL as we know it. Just thought I would pass it along, see what you guys thought. Guess the action will be at Irvine this year...

Again I would like to know your source, the website is down but the recording is still going. Where are you getting your info...I NEED TO KNOW!!! If LNL closes I might go ahead and freaking move to Utah with the rest of my family after all...GEEEZZZ! He just barely won the Concession contract for another 15 years from the county. Now what is the city trying to do to him?

Let's just say people in the know have passed the word down. Never fear though IRVINE is still here. Of course if LNL goes and once they build all the homes at Irvine... I will probably move. It will also cripple the farm raised trout industry in this area.

Irvine is to freakin big, it will never be the same as LNL, if LNL closes down or changes in a bad way I am going to burn my trout rods.

You need to know how to fish Irvine. Irvine is a lot better IMO because it is at least a real lake and takes some skill to catch fish. LNL is more of a put and take (to me anyway) than even SARL since it is smaller. Dump fish in, throw out power bait, bring fish in. Again don't shoot the messanger JMO Sure people flyfish at lnl, but that just means there are more bugs around lol I am sure if people actually tried to flyfish Irvine they could, but no one ever does.

I have NEVER used power bait and I never will, I use eggs and worms sometimes but I prefer jigs and flies, its hard to release fish when you are using treble hooks so I dont. I really hope you are wrong about LNL, it would depress me beyond words. The only way to get tons of fish at Irvine is to troll and I dont have access to a boat and I really dont want to give those jerks my money if I can avoid it. I HATE THE CONSESSION OWNERS AT IRVINE!

Does GVL allow float tubes? is it 30 minutes from my house? do they stock wild raised Utah rainbows in full spawn? can you fish it all winter? HUH? I can go to LNL and for $26 fish from my float tube all day and catch and release dozens of huge trout. How much would it cost to rent a boat at GVL for an entire day? how far is it from Irvine? HUH?...I thought so.

Well, not sure why you hate the concession. Guys there have always been cool to me. But I need to correct you on Irvine. I very rarely troll. I like trolling so I do it, but ask trout guy or bryson or heck jon. Sitting on a spot all day and running out of nightcrawlers because we caught so many fish. I think you got the wrong impression. Also for $32 and two other guys I can fish Irvine all day and release more and bigger fish that dont goo all over you lol
