I found my local fishing hole...

So I went out to run some errands with a friend of mine that lives near me and we started talking about fishing...he had done some and told me about a little lake that is near where I live...well as a matter of fact its 3 miles from where I live....so we took a trip out there and he showed me where he fishes at....and they even have a small dock you can fish off of....the lake is small...there are no power anythings allowed in it...including trolling motors....I snapped some pictures of it....so take a look....

So yeah this is most likely where I am going to start my fishing adventures...

Great spot Bro, that lake's bigger than many pay lakes in southern california. Try to find out if they have a fish stocking schedule and allow float tubes/ pontoons, kayaks, or row boats on it.

pretty nice looking lake, if i lived only 3 miles, id fished it.

advise: work the lake on a regular basis, you,ll find the good spots in no time.
by the looks of the color ( water ) id would throw spinners during the day light.

from the looks of the first picture, it might get very interesting to launch a float tube or kayak. Then again, it would look pretty dam funny.

You even try to pull that and I'll climb back up, kick you in the nuts, beat you with your own shoes and whipe poop flames on your hood.......and you know I will.
