Thursday and Saturday??? - California Fishing

THURSDAY I wanted to grab a half day boat out of Newport after work but the counts are pretty dismal so I think that I will fish the harbor instead. I sould be down on the island by 10:30am, I may float it or I may just fish from the beach.

SATURDAY morning I was thinking of hitting Huntington Harbor for a change, I am off Friday night so I should be able to get there fairly early in the AM and fish the incomming tide.
If anyone wants to go let me know...

Also if anyone is going to be tubing, kayaking or whatever farther North (Belmont, Naples etc.) let me know, I may drive up there for a change of scenery.

All this fishing talk is making my stomach whirl of anxiety. I wanna feesh!! Hopefully, if I can tackle all my deadlines by Fri. I may join you guys out there. Can someone PM me info on the best way to get around HB Harbor, as well as parking/launching tips, please?

I am game for Huntington harbor Saturday just not sure what street it's off of.
I might be free to fish Newport harbor Thursday morning too if you are going to throw jigs from shore, shoot me a text if you don't mind Thursday morning and I'll see if I can fit it in before class.

I usally head back home friday night. But i may stick around and go out saturday morning. you mind pming me a map aswell fishslayer

Hahaha me to. I just went to google maps and typed in Huntington Harbour and all went well. But i will be heading out saturday! Hope to see you all there! This will be my first time out. I'm really new to saltwater so you guys are going to have to take it easy!

I can either Pontoon or Yak it. Can't say that either is easier to pre & launch. Though I've got the ghetto Feesh Finder on the yak, so I may end up yaking it. I miss the good ol' days. It must be about 4 months since my yak's seen water..or at least it feels that way.

I will do everything in my power to make it out there on Saturday. What time you all heading out?
