RUMORS OR POSSIBLY TRUE

MY BOSSES SON LIVES IN HAVASU AND FISHES THERE EVERY WEEKEND. THIS GUY ( BOSSES SON ) SHOWED ME PICTURES OF 30 TO 40 LB STRIPERS THAT HE HAVE CAUGHT IN THE PAST. WOW IMPRESSING PICTURES.

HE WAS UP THERE LAST WEEKEND AS USUAL AND FISHING FOR STRIPERS , WHEN A FISH AND GAME FELLA WALKED UP TO HIM, THE BOSSES SON COMPLAINT ABOUT HOW HE ALWAYS CATCHES STRIPERS HERE IN THIS AREA.
BUT THE LAST 6 MONTHS HE HAVE,NT REALLY CAUGHT ANYTHING BIG IN A WHILE.

THE FISH AND GAME FELLA EXPLAINED WHY.

LAST YEAR THEY STOCKED ( TROUTS ) IN THE LAUGHLIN TO HAVASU AREA THAT WERE INFECTED WITH SOME KINDA DISEASE THAT EFFECTED THE STIPER POPULATION.

DOES THIS MEAN THE STIPERS MAY BE INFECTED OF THE DISEASE, OF COURSE , WE ALL KNOW STRIPERS EAT TROUTS.

HAVE ANYONE HEAR HEARD OF THIS OR IS IT ALL A HOAX.

DOING A SEARCH ON IT WOULD BE GREAT, come to think of it. the stripers in colorado river are connected to the duct, in which comes through our local lakes ( with inlets ). so i would assume this disease might have struck us in california.....

they might be keeping it a hush hush situation, who knows.
this brings up another question, has anyone been getting sick ( eating the fish ) stipers or trouts.

Haven't heard that. The aqueduct gets its water from the delta.

That's a different aqueduct system. The California aqueduct starts in northern Ca and runs down to southern Ca. The delta is in the SF,Sacramento,Stockton area.

Has anyone seen this show called "Dirty Jobs" well I saw this one episode they had on the other week, where they visited a stripper and tilapia farm here in Cali.. Mid part of the show they had to vaccinate the strippers cause they was at age of getting strep. You know I have no idea what that is.. but it doesn't sound good. Could this be what your boss son was talking about. Anyways If you see this episode it might answer that question.
