How many surface acres is Irvine lake?

I know their website says 725 acres, however this number also covers their land. Does anyone know how many acres the ACTUAL lake is? I was just looking at 75 acre farm ponds and there is no way that irvine is ten times the surface acre size. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

James

http://www.rbf.com/services/projects.asp?id=577 - Hmmm well this says it is 700 surface acres... Does anyone agree that seems a bit off?

Irvine Lakes actual name is Santiago Reservoir, have you run a search using that name?

Sure did and they all still point to 700 acres. I am going to wager a guess however that is at full capacity, which the lake hasnt seen in quite sometime. I wonder what the average is. The reason I was asking is because I was looking at some guys ponds that they built for Trophy bass fishing. Averaged from 10-75 acres and they looked huge. Started looking for land in San bernardino lol

Would you guys drive to San bernardino for a shot at fishing a lake like this?
