Who knows...

...how to cook Spanish Macs or Halfmoon Perch so that they taste good?
Captain said they were good eatin', so I bagged a few.
Only thing is, they stank like arse when I was cleaning them. Is this normal, or did they sit in the sun too long?
I'm thinking catfish bait!!!

perch ( fish tacos) ensenada style spanish macs u can either sauteee it with a butter sauce or smoke it to make jerky or just some smoked fish but it has very little cooking options unlike other fish

That bad smell the mackerel gave off is normal, they are just bad smelling fish in general, thats why their used for catfood and catfish bait.

The mackerel I've caught didn't smell bad, until the were in the sack too long.
