beaches

hey moderators. i put the russian river post in southern calif. can you please move it? thanks. well now for the reports.

pismo beach and pier-
didnt fish just looked around and saw no action. all i saw were 5 baby 3" perch, 1 6" perch, 2 12" smelt, and a clump of mussel.

pebble beach-
saw 1 other guy fishing with a 13" perch. think it was a rubberlip or something but it sure was nice. fished 1 hour using shrimp, 3" motor oil grub. and mussel. nothing caught by me or my dad in 20 minutes.

some pier on the north side of golden gate bridge-
saw 3 3" perches. 7 crab nets. only a couple of azn people caught the crabs. they caught a whole bucket and a half of them. nice. i fished with nickel size shrimp and got a ton of bites and only pulled in my empty hooks. well thats all for now and im heading out to eureka soon. cya guys

I moved the other post for you. Let me know how you like fishing in the Eureka area. I was up there a while back, actually went to visit a friend at Humboldt State University, and I heard there was really good fishing up there. The cool thing is that the saltwater and freshwater fishing are so close to each other you could do both in a day.

Good report. Too bad for the little bit of lack of fish. Maybe you should try scaling down the size of your grub if ur not getting bit from 3" to 1.5" or 1.75". This might produce more fish. Good luck.
