Berkley Gulp! Alive! - California Fishing

Alright, I'll admit that I love the Gulp! product line.
They have worked very well for me on almost all applications that I have used them.

Now they have released Gulp! Alive! which is allegedly 20% stronger and productive.

I am going to go online a buy the quart container of 3" Shrimp and see what the deal is this weekend.

I'll report back my expierence, but in the mean time... Anyone tried these?

Now, when I first saw these, I thought they were the biggest scam ever. It just seemed like a retarded concept. We sell them at Turners and we have all been joking about em and what not. But if you think about it, it really does make sense. You get more pieces then you would from the bags of Gulp and for not much more money. You also get a lot more juice to help the bait stay wet, so I guess it's a good idea no matter how goofy it may seem

Well, my review will have to wait.
I put in my order on Monday via the Berkley website and it didn't get shipped till Wednesday from Virginia... So it will not be here in time for my trip on Saturday.
I really am looking forward to testing the "20% increase" claim.

I hear that there not to good on the BBQ, as they melt, But they might be good in a salad.

We have them at my Turner's too, but I have not tried them. I found a pack of 4" shrimp with a accidental bonus Mullet. I set it aside to be bought in a week when my discount kicks in. Hopefully they work. The rest of the gulp works very well from the boat and the shore. If this stuff is even 5% better, I'm hooked.

Here is one more advantage to having all that juice available... If you accidently know someone who likes to leave thier baits rigged and attached to their line at all times, even during storage times, (It is not me) than you can put the dried up, decrepid looking, harb bait in the tub and after about a week or so it will re-charge and return to its normal shape and consistancy.

I have seen it first hand.
