I am going to call the Mill Creek ranger station tomorrow and see if Jenk's is going to be opened, if it is I will then be calling the campground to make reservations.
If Jenk's does not open next week (or if the water level is too low) I will make my overnight trip at the Kern instead. Its a longer drive but the camping is free and we can crowd several trucks and tents into the same area without having to pay anything, except for maybe a roadside parking permit.(?)
