Why not just buy a pump and pump them yourself? I bought a pump from fisherman hardware for $35. Best $35 I have ever spent. I have pumped someting like 500 shrimps already so it has paid for itself. Today (2/5) I pumped 50 shrimps with in about 10 minutes. Couldn't catch anything with them but that is another matter. Ended up giving them away to a family on my way home.

Ditto, with colder weather you can keep them alive almost 2 weeks, just keep them in a cold place and change the water twice a day. If not look for parked boats inside a harbor, one with a beach. The lack of waves will help ghost shrimp populations, they don't like waves too much. Also, follow the bords on the sand, they help a lot giving away populations.
