It's on Seal Beach Blvd and PCH. It used to be called "Norms Bait and Tackle" and my dad used to know the old owner before he moved up to Oregon, if my memory serves me correctly. I'm not sure what it's called now, but I know if the bait shop isn't open, you can get bait at the convenience store. I'm not sure of the store hours.
If you have to take the freeways to the area get down to the 405, pass the 605 going south and get off on Seal Beach Blvd and head south. You'll pass Leisure World, then the Space Assembly plant, Then at PCH, Katty-corner, is the bait shop.
If you're in the LB/Belmont shore area, head for PCH, then go south and after you pass Main Street in Seal Beach (there's a Charo Chicken there) look for the store on the right, just before you come to the overpass, right at Seal Beach Blvd. There's also a bike rental place around the corner. .
