Lake Siskiyou - August 26th, 2006

FISHING: Good

The fishing is good once you find the fish.
I took Ginger and her Dad on Saturday and they landed 20 Trout (10 to 20 inches) and a few bass (all small).
We caught all the trout in the same spot near one of the creek inlets.
Bait: small Panther Martin spinnners, and flies (woolley booger bugger) worked the best. We did not get on the
water until 8:30am and the fishing was slow. I would suggest starting much ealier, trolling was not effective with the sun on the water. I'm heading to Eagle Lake on
Wednesday with my buddy Guy Ives, we will being fishing there until Saturday.

FISH ON!!!!
