So in my re tooled arsenal I needed (really wanted) a Curado 300. It's a low profile baitcaster that you can toss surface iron and heavier jigs. Drags are rated at 15lbs which is rediculous for a low profile but perfect for our California inshore species!! Just got it the other day so I'll have to mess with it more. Has a lot more pieces then the AVETS. Will be mounted to a 7'6" Shimano Clarus that I have laying around. I'll test it at the ducts since I haven't been able to hit the coast. I'll post a pic when I get some ne batteries for the camera. As with the AVETS, my inital impression is really high. Very smooth real and light and fits in my hand pretty good. More to come after I use it.
