Morro Bay exploration.....

This thread is about a trip I took about 3 months ago and am just posting the info, sorry, enjoy. On a Sat. evening around 9pm, I decided to pack some clothes and head to Morro Bay. I've never visited the city and took the curiosity to the curb and headed out there, no second thoughts, no regrets. Took the 101fwy north for about 6 hrs, not before I passed out at a rest stop just after Santa Barbara. Woke up to arrive at the bay around 6 to light fog. I've always enjoyed the coast during mornings the most. Stopped at a small pop-owned cafe for breakfast. Afterwards, I headed down to the rock. No sh!t, a mound of rock just overlooking the coastline a southern bay. walked along the edge and cruised along the blvd. Stopped off at the local sport fishing charter for info. They mentioned of salmon runs but I can't remember when. Later, I headed south to Montana de Oro State park, way too large to hike in a day; however I did walk what I could. The coastal shore was
beautiful with a uniquely-angled stair-step shape. lots of sea urchants, crabs
and folks fishing for bullheads and eels. Headed back up a densely-vegetated path to the car and cruised south to find a few great camp ground that I will definitely reserve, eventually. Here are sol me pics, it's getting late I'm getting tired. Enjoy.

P.S. Here's a guy who just walked off the moo moo boat at Avila Beach (FYI spooky) with a fat flattie. Now I'm craving funions.
